#SCCF2024 Comic Submission Form

Thank you for expressing interest in performing in the 4th Annual Sixth City Comedy Festival in Cleveland, Ohio! We are excited for you to join us in The Land!

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS: 

Your video should be uploaded to a video hosting website (ie, YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, etc). Due to spam/phish/virus issues frompast submissions, we do not accept Google Drive submissions. Videos filmed prior to January 2022 will NOT be considered. ZOOM video are allowed, but the video/audio must be clear, and the video must be uploaded to a video hosting website prior to submission. Your submission video must must be at least five (5) but no more than seven (7) minutes in play length. Any video that is longer than our guidelines request will be immediately disqualified (These are industry standards). If your best material is contained in a video of a longer set, please send us only the portion of the video in which you want to be judged. Videos filmed prior to January 2022 will NOT be considered. Any videos with inactive links will be ineligible. Any videos listed as "private" will be ineligible. Any videos that are unable to be judged due to poor sound quality will be ineligible. Video submissions CANNOT be a “best of” highlight reel and MUST BE OF ONE CONTINUOUS SET. Any submissions that are not of one continuous set will be ineligible. Videos filmed prior to January 2022 will NOT be considered.

Dates/Deadlines 

Submissions open: 1/1/24 (12:01AM EST--New Years Day)  

Submissions close: 3/31/24 (11:59PM EST--Easter Sunday)  

Performer Selection: emails by 5/27/24.  

Festival Dates: 8/7/24 thru 8/10/24.

Selected Performers will be required to respond to the email notification attempt within fourteen (14) calendar days. Failure to respond by Saturday, June 8th, 2024 (6/8/24) may result in forfeiture of participation in the Festival and, in such a case, the Festival panel will select an alternate Participant/Performer from among all remaining Entries submitted. Only accepted Participants/Performers will be notified by email.

**PLEASE NOTE**  

This is a LIVE event; if you are unable or unwilling to travel to the festival, then please do not apply.  YOUR SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE REVIEWED IF WE DON'T RECEIVE THE SUBMISSION FEE.  Payment DOES NOT guarantee you a spot in the festival. Submission fees are non-refundable. HOWEVER, if #SCCF2024 is cancelled for any reason, then 100% of the submission fees will be refunded back to the comics.

COVID-19 INFORMATION: 

Proof of vaccination status is not required, however, this is a LIVE event; the threat of COVID-19 is still very real but we work diligently to keep all areas/spaces/equipment safe, clean, and sanitized.  If you are immunocompromised then it might be best to avoid submitting to this festival.
